SNAP-vitro HTRF® 647 Acceptor

SNAP-vitro 647 is an excellent FRET acceptor for Eu3+ Cryptate in HTRF® assays. SNAP-vitro 647 is based on BG-647 which features a photostable fluorophore also suitable for use with 650nm laser excitation or appropriate filter sets (Ex 660nm, Em 673nm). SNAP-vitro 647 has many other applications: it can be used for labeling SNAP-tag proteins in solution, or in cell lysates; it can be used for selective labeling of SNAP-tag proteins on cell surfaces and for labeling in fixed permeabilized cells; and it can be used for the rapid specific detection of SNAP-tag fusion proteins directly on SDS-PAGE gels.
