The SNAP-tag gene is available codon-optimized for mammalian and bacterial expression in various formats:
SNAP-source plasmids are high copy number storage plasmids, intended for use as a PCR template of the SNAP-tag.
SNAP-express plasmids are ready to use expression plasmids containing a codon optimized gene for the SNAP-tag
SNAP-express Gateway® plasmids are intended for the cloning by Gateway® recombination followed by stable or transient expression of SNAP-tag fusion proteins in mammalian cells.
